Life Matters

Just wanted to get something off my chest.  To simply say, "Life is too short" is an understatement.  We should appreciate it and the people who have wonderfully touched our lives.  Life is not about the material things, yet they can make life better.  Nevertheless, life is about how you touch the lives of others, and how they touch your life.

Lately, the news have been filled with topics such as DADT, economic conditions, war, same-sex marriage, illegal use of sport enhancement products, and atrocities throughout the world.  Not to minimize these issues, they are important.

But, at the end of the day, tell me what truly matters.  When you go home to your spouses or significant others, what really matter.  What matter is a loving family, wonderful friends, a wholesome home, and a peaceful kingdom.

What matter is the life of all.  It is not about being a person's color, creed, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.  It is a people thing.

What matter is that there are service men and women on domestic and foreign soil who are making a sacrifice and giving unselfishly to protect our freedom and liberty.  It is important to remember their sacrifice.
